Its been slow going with the laminate. Not as easy as I thought to install, but I'm getting the hang of it.
- Tuesday night I cut two sections of cork and got the first row down.
- Wednesday night I realized the first section was backwards (tongues are not suppose to point out). I switched it around and did a second row.
- Thursday morning I did a row. I messed up and made it too big so I had to do a bunch of crappy cutting to one end. Tonight I did 4 more row. I'm cutting on the table saw table now and I finally got into a rhythm (though I still made some mistakes).
Tomorrow I will start working on the last piece of cork. Its going to be all weird shaped so that will be fun. At some point I will have to get a Japanese backsaw to undercut the frames. What an adventure.
Ian made his first communion on Saturday. We've been doing a bunch of Church stuff. Yesterday we participated in a procession, it was nice.
